A few months back my sister and I were perusing Fabric Depot for curtain fabric for my bedroom. As it turns out, it's way cheaper to just buy curtains, but the trip wasn't an entire waste as we came across a very cute vintage inspired Christmas fabric. As we pondered what we (meaning Katie) could make out of it, I remembered that the Mechling house Christmas tree had been skirt-less for the last two Christmases, and what better use for this fabric.
The tree skirt turned out even better than I had imagined, which you can see for yourself in the pics below.
