The weekend of August 21st - 23rd we decided to go the beach for a couple nights to get out of town before Kevin started school, and his new job as Dean of Students. Packing for the beach was a whole new beast! There are so many more things to pack when you have a baby, and you really have to think ahead. We got to the beach on Friday afternoon, and took Clara for a nice walk in the Bjorn, and let her baby feet touch the sand. Not sure if she enjoyed it or not since she was asleep the whole time :) The whole weekend she slept great, and got to see family and friends, watch Uncle Michael surf, and take in that fresh beach air. We even ventured to Lincoln City to the outlet malls with her. Overall it was a wonderful weekend :)
